Improve the efficiency of labor supply and demand

Despite being affected by the instability of the world economic situation, since the beginning of the year, the demand for labor recruitment in the province has increased thanks to the Government's macroeconomic solutions, the province's support policies and the safe and flexible adaptation strategies of businesses... According to the Department of Home Affairs, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has created new jobs for nearly 12,700 workers, reaching nearly 52% of the annual plan. Of which, sending workers to work abroad for a limited period or seasonally under contracts is 1,885 people, reaching 60.8% of the annual plan, up 3% over the same period last year.

In order to promote employment for workers, in recent times, the functional sectors of the province and localities have strengthened coordination with vocationaltraining institutions, junior high schools and high schools to promote and orient careers, and stream education and training; improve the quality of human resource training and vocational skills training; accelerate digital transformation in job transactions to facilitate the connection between labor supply and demand, vocational training associated with the labor recruitment needs of enterprises.

Currently , the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs) maintains 2 job counseling points for permanent employees in Hung Yen city and My Hao town. Since the beginning of the year, the Center has provided job counseling to more than 20,700 employees. The number of employees introduced to jobs is nearly 1,500 people. In addition, the Center also successfully organized 5 job transaction sessions with 26 units and enterprises participating. Through 5 transaction sessions, 388 employees were consulted, interviewed for admission, recruited directly and hundreds of employees were scheduled for interviews at enterprises.

Mr. Do Quang Huy, Director of the Employment Service Center, said: In the first months of the year, the Center focused on collecting, analyzing, forecasting, and providing information on the labor market and vocational training. In particular, exploiting and collecting information on vacant jobs of enterprises with 534 job positions; collecting information on job seekers for more than 7,800 workers; posting nearly 1,400 recruitment notices on the Employment Service Center's website; providing vocational training advice for   3,781   workers. At the same time, update the labor fluctuation situation at 148 enterprises...

Currently, the province has 10/17 industrial parks in operation. Projects in industrial parks create jobs for over 81 thousand workers. In 2025, when a series of projects located in Thang Long II Industrial Park, industrial clusters: Kim Dong, Nghia Dan... come into operation, the expected recruitment demand is over 39 thousand workers...

In the coming time, the Employment Service Center will continue to coordinate with relevant units to focus on grasping the labor needs of enterprises to have plans to organize the connection between labor supply and demand, enhance information on the labor market; connect vocational training institutions with enterprises to provide vocational training for workers according to "orders"; provide information on the "labor demand" of the market to vocational training institutions so that vocational training is organized in line with the needs of the labor market and ensures the quality of output labor to increase the efficiency of job creation and solve sustainable employment. Thereby contributing to improving the Provincial Competitiveness Index, including the component index on labor training.
