Honoring 30 outstanding groups and 70 individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement

On June 24, at the Provincial Information and Conference Center, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation organized the Red Journey program, the Blood Donation Festival "Pho Hien Red Drops" and honored outstanding collectives and individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement of Hung Yen province in 2025.

In 2024, the province organized 51 voluntary blood donations, attracting more than 25,000 registered participants and receiving more than 21,000 units of blood.

2025 is the third time the Red Journey program has been organized in Hung Yen province, attracting more than 1,000 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the province to register to donate blood;   The organizers received 845 units of blood.

Outstanding collectives and individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement in Hung Yen province were honored at the program.

At the program, the Central Red Journey Organizing Committee presented a souvenir flag and the Red Journey logo to the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee; the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation in 2024; the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee honored 30 collectives and 70 outstanding individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement in Hung Yen province.

Visit and give gifts to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the Provincial General Hospital

On this occasion, the Central Red Journey Organizing Committee coordinated with the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development ( BIDV ) Hung Yen Branch, Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development, Bac Hung Yen Branch (BIDV Bac Hung Yen Branch) to visit and present 20 gifts to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the Provincial General Hospital, each gift including gifts and cash worth 500 thousand VND.
