Mourinho shows off, Fenerbahce wins 5 stars in Champions League

Jose Mourinho was on top of Robin van Persie, helping Fenerbahce come from behind to beat Feyenoord 5-2 in the Champions League qualifiers.

Fenerbahce and Feyenoord meet in the most anticipated match of the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League, after the Dutch side won 2-1 in the first leg at De Kuyp.

Coach Jose Mourinho warned before the match that Fenerbahce's home stadium would be "hell" for opponents.

The first half went exactly as the Portuguese coach had said: the home team pressed from the first minute, playing fast football.

En Nesyri scored the home team's fourth goal in the 83rd minute. This score almost guaranteed a ticket to the group stage of the Champions League.

With some fitness issues in the final minutes of the game and defending deep, Mourinho's side allowed Watanabe to score again in the 89th minute.

In extra time, taking advantage of a counter-attack, Anderson Talisca sealed a resounding 5-2 victory.

The comeback in "hell" helped Fenerbahce win 6-4, sending Van Persie's Feyenoord out of Europe's most prestigious club competition.

Ahead of Mourinho is a tough challenge: Fenerbahce face Benfica in the play-off round for a ticket to the Champions League group stage.
