MU recruits Nathan Collins
After spending money on the expected attack, MU is focusing on upgrading the defense, aiming to compete for a high ranking in the Premier League 2025/26.

As well as reaching a personal agreement with goalkeeper Senne Lammens, officials at Old Trafford are set to seal a move for Brentford centre-back Nathan Collins.
Nathan Collins is considered a modern central defender, standing at 1.93 metres tall. The Irish international stands out for his ability to intercept and read situations to clear the goal. He is also very effective in attacking: 2 goals and 3 assists in the Premier League 2024/25.
Coach Thomas Frank is looking to bring Nathan Collins to Tottenham, while Liverpool are also keeping an eye on him.
MU are trying to convince the 24-year-old to join Old Trafford, while also looking for a joint deal with Brentford.
Coach Mourinho saves Antony
According to information from England and Turkey, coach Jose Mourinho has just contacted his old club MU to negotiate bringing Antony to join Fenerbahce.

Antony is not in coach Ruben Amorim's plans. MU has rejected many loan offers, because they want to sell the Brazilian player after investing a lot in the transfer.
Mourinho has ambitions to take Fenerbahce past Galatasaray in the race for Turkish football dominance (market here is open until September 12).
The rival is on a transfer spree, from buying Victor Osimhen outright to the ambition to sign Ederson and Manuel Akanji from Man City, so Mourinho needs more unconventional players like Antony.
Fenerbahce are capable of meeting MU's transfer fee requirements, as well as being willing to give Antony a high salary.
Barca in dilemma over Casado
Barcelona are in a transfer dilemma, regarding the future of young midfielder Marc Casado.

Recently, Barca received offers from Premier League clubs such as Wolves and West Ham, teams willing to spend 30 million euros in cash to win the signature of the Spanish midfielder.
On the one hand, Barca do not want to sell Casado, because it affects the institution and pride of La Liga. On the other hand, Blaugrana see letting him go to the Premier League as an opportunity to solve the financial aspect.
Casado was crucial for Barca in the first half of last season, but was benched towards the end as Frenkie de Jong resurged. The Catalans will let the 21-year-old decide whether to stay or go between now and September 1.
