Number of tourists to Lam Dong on September 2 increased by 6.8%

Authorities estimate that during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, Lam Dong welcomed 590,000 visitors, an increase of about 6.8% over the same period in 2024.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, the National Day holiday on September 2nd this year lasts for 4 consecutive days, creating favorable conditions for people to organize short-term trips.

Lam Dong estimates the total number of tourists visiting and staying during the holiday (from August 30 to September 2) at about 590,000, an increase of about 6.8% over the same period in 2024; of which, international visitors are estimated at about 10,500. Revenue is estimated at about 715 billion VND.

During the holiday, the number of guests staying at accommodation establishments in the province is concentrated on August 30 and September 1. The average room occupancy rate is about 60 - 70%. The room occupancy rate of 3 - 5 star hotels is about 75 - 85%.

The number of tourists to Lam Dong on September 2, 2025 is estimated to increase by about 6.8% compared to the same period in 2024.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a document requesting the People's Committees of sectors, localities and units to prepare well the conditions to welcome and serve tourists to Lam Dong on the occasion of National Day September 2 and the Month of Experiencing Tourist Destination in Lam Dong province in 2025.

Localities, departments and relevant sectors should increase promotion of products, services and incentives to stimulate tourism. At the same time, actively develop new tourism products and services to improve professionalism in customer service.

Many businesses apply promotions, discounts, freebies, increased services... to attract tourists on the occasion of September 2nd.

Tourism service businesses have actively renovated the landscape and environment, ensured security and order, implemented food hygiene and safety, and improved service quality to serve tourists. Along with that, they have added entertainment services, products, and services that operate at night.

Some tourism service businesses and tourist attractions have promotional programs, freebies, discounts, increased services... to attract tourists during the holidays.

International visitors to Lam Dong during the 4-day holiday are estimated at about 10,500 people.
