Lung Cu quickly adapts to the 2-level local government model

This is the assessment of Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department during his visit and work with the Party Committee, government and people of Lung Cu commune from July 6-7.

At the meeting, Lung Cu commune leaders reported on the implementation of administrative activities after the merger; initial results achieved; advantages and difficulties in organization, facilities and ensuring smooth and effective administrative activities. Notably, Lung Cu commune police recently launched a hotline to receive information reflecting on the security and order situation in the area. This is the first border commune out of 17 border communes in the province to open a hotline to receive information on security and order. Hotline information is publicly posted at the commune People's Committee headquarters, residential areas and loudspeaker systems for easy access by people.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and the drastic participation of the Party Committee and the government of Lung Cu commune in proactively implementing administrative reforms, applying digital transformation in management, not interrupting leadership and operation work; promptly adapting to the new organizational model, ensuring that all activities serving the people are maintained stably. He requested the Party Committee and the government of the commune to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, improving the capacity of cadres and civil servants; innovating and being creative in performing public duties; continuing to promote the strengths of the border region to develop the economy , preserve the national cultural identity, and build a solid national defense.
