Officers and soldiers of the regular force, militia and reserve forces were mobilized to assist in the evacuation of more than 200 people, especially the elderly and children, mainly households living in old, seriously degraded collective housing areas in Ngo Quyen ward.

Here, the delegation visited and encouraged people who were being evacuated to avoid the storm, and inspected the reception organization, logistics assurance and living conditions for people during their temporary stay.

The proactive evacuation, inspection and timely mobilization demonstrated the sense of responsibility and determination of the armed forces and local authorities in disaster prevention and control, contributing to ensuring people's safety.

Although the eye of storm No. 3 did not enter the city, the storm's circulation caused widespread heavy rain in many places in the area. In Cat Hai Special Zone, there was heavy rain, big waves combined with high tides, many weak dyke locations on the Hoang Chau sea dyke in Dinh village and Ngoai village dyke, Phu Long were at risk of serious landslides.

Faced with the above situation, the Hai Phong City Military Command quickly deployed forces and vehicles to coordinate with local authorities and people to organize rescue and overcome the incident.

Nearly 200 officers and soldiers of Regiment 50 and Cat Hai Island Company, along with hundreds of local people, urgently transported supplies, used sandbags, bamboo poles and other on-site materials to reinforce damaged dike sections, preventing seawater from overflowing.

Thanks to the close coordination, proactive spirit, urgency and high determination of the armed forces and people, landslides were basically controlled, ensuring safety for the dike and the lives of people in the area.
