Around 10:00 a.m. on August 27, residents of alley C8 Vo Van Van, Tan Vinh Loc commune, Ho Chi Minh City discovered black smoke rising from a house located on a plot of land of more than a thousand square meters.
A moment later, the fire broke out. Some people living next to the land, fearing that the fire would spread, used water hoses to spray the area to prevent the fire from spreading and called the authorities. The fire broke out so fiercely that the house made of corrugated iron and wood collapsed, and the livestock area next to it was also severely affected.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 20, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.
According to local residents, the land was carefully fenced, with trees, livestock, and a house inside. The landowner regularly collected dry firewood to pile up for cooking and livestock farming. At the time of the fire, this man was not present at the scene.
As of 1:00 p.m. on August 27, Tan Vinh Loc Commune Police and Ho Chi Minh City Police were still investigating, clarifying the cause and calculating the damage from the fire.
