Early morning sun exposure helps the skin produce vitamin D.

The prostate gland is about the size of a walnut, weighing about 15 to 25 grams. Despite its small size, the prostate is particularly susceptible to cancer, especially in men diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Prostate enlargement is quite common in men after age 55. However, many research evidences show that sun exposure can help prevent and improve prostate health. To avoid sunburn and increase the risk of skin cancer The best time for sun exposure is from 6 to 9 am.

A study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention found that men who are regularly exposed to sunlight have a lower risk of prostate disease, including prostate cancer.

Similarly, another study in the journal Cancer Research also found that regular sun exposure can reduce the risk of developing prostate cancer in men by about 50%. Researchers believe that this benefit is due to the fact that exposure to sunlight helps the skin produce vitamin D. Vitamin D helps the prostate gland to be healthier. There are many ways to get vitamin D, in addition to sun exposure, you can eat foods rich in vitamin D.

If you want your body to absorb vitamin D through exposure to sunlight, then expose yourself to early morning sunlight between 6 and 9 a.m. Just 10 to 15 minutes of sun exposure each day is enough.

People should limit their exposure to sunlight between 9am and 4pm. This is when the sun has a lot of ultraviolet rays, which can easily cause sunburn and increase the risk of skin cancer. In their daily diet, men can eat foods rich in vitamin D such as egg yolks, salmon, herring, sardines, mushrooms, milk, beef liver, yogurt and some other foods, according to Medical News Today.
