The second qualifying round of the 2025 Ankara Billiards World Cup features three Vietnamese players: Thon Viet Hoang Minh, Nguyen Hoan Tat and Nguyen Chi Long. Accordingly, Hoang Minh is in Group E with Herbert Szivacz (Austria) and Mehmet Aksoy (Türkiye). Hoan Tat is in Group J with Karina Jetten (Netherlands) and Daniel Kristiansen (Denmark). Chi Long is in Group N with Ali Ibraimov (Germany) and Kostas (Greece).
The first Vietnamese player to play in the second qualifying round is Nguyen Chi Long. Chi Long will face Kostas at 4:30 p.m. today (June 10, Vietnam time). Depending on the result of the first match, Chi Long will continue to play the decisive match at 7:30 p.m. or 10:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Hoang Minh will play at 6pm and 9pm. Hoan Tat will play at 7:30pm and 10:30pm.

Chi Long, Hoang Minh and Hoan Tat are the skilled players of Vietnamese 3-cushion carom billiards. If they play at their best, all 3 players mentioned above have a good chance to advance to the 3rd qualifying round.
The second qualifying round of the Ankara 2025 Billiards World Cup has 48 players competing, divided equally into 16 groups (3 players each). The players compete in a round robin to calculate points and rank, hitting 30 points with the same number of cues (with a draw). The top player in each group will advance to the third qualifying round.
Previously, on the first day of competition (June 9) of the Ankara 2025 Billiards World Cup, Vietnam had 1 player on the field, Nguyen Dinh Luan. Dinh Luan won the opening match, but unfortunately lost in the deciding match. Therefore, he could not participate in the second qualifying round taking place today.
