The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a plan to organize the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2024.

024 was held to commemorate the 724th death anniversary of National Hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan; commemorate the 582nd death anniversary of National Hero, World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai; and honor the Tran Dynasty in the cause of defending the Fatherland.
According to the plan, the Announcement Ceremony will take place at Kiep Bac Relic Site on September 12 (ie August 10 of the lunar calendar). On September 18 (August 16 of the lunar calendar), a series of activities will take place, including the opening of the exhibition of antiques with the theme: "Cultural heritage of the Tran Dynasty on Hai Duong land", the opening of the Cultural Tourism and Trade Promotion Week of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2024; and the awarding of the final round of the Hai Duong Province Tour Guide Competition 2024.
Besides, there is the 724th death anniversary commemoration ceremony of National Hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, the opening ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2024; the opening ceremony of Kiep Bac Temple and a performance of Water Puppetry.
On September 19 (August 17 of the lunar calendar), activities will take place such as the Assembly Performance on Luc Dau River; Water Puppetry Performance; Opening Ceremony of the Saint Performance Festival and activities of the Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week.
Hai Duong province also organized a Water Puppetry performance; a Peace Prayer Ceremony and a Lantern Festival; a Saint Regards Performance Festival on September 20; a closing ceremony of the Saint Regards Performance Festival on September 21; and a procession, a sacrificial ceremony, a death anniversary of Saint Tran and the closing ceremony of the Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week on September 22.
At Con Son Relic Site, on September 18, there will also be a procession, a memorial service for the 582nd death anniversary of National Hero, World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai; and a ceremony at Nguyen Trai Temple and Tran Nguyen Dan Temple.
The festival contributes to promoting the outstanding global cultural heritage values of the relic site during the process of Hai Duong province, together with Quang Ninh and Bac Giang provinces, welcoming expert delegations to appraise the dossier submitted to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for recognition of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex as a world heritage site.
