Consulting on awarding the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother"

(Baohatinh.vn) - Ha Tinh Department of Home Affairs sought public opinions on media channels to propose the President to posthumously award the honorary title of "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 1 individual.

Pursuant to the Law on Emulation and Commendation dated June 15, 2022; Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation, the Department of Home Affairs solicits public opinions on media under its management on the proposalto the President to posthumously award the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to Ms. Lam Thi Em (born in 1909, originally from Kim Loc commune, now Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc district).

Mrs. Lam Thi Em has two biological children (Nguyen Minh Hanh and Nguyen Ngu) who are martyrs.

People can give their opinions by sending a document (with signature, full name, phone number, contact address) to the Department of Emulation and Rewards of the Department of Home Affairs (No. 86, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Tan Giang Ward, Ha Tinh City).

After 10 days of posting, if there is no feedback from the People, the Department of Home Affairs will carry out the procedures and submit them to the competent authority to posthumously award the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" according to regulations.
