At the launching ceremony, Can Tho Central General Hospital and Fujifilm Vietnam Co., Ltd. also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in training in gastrointestinal endoscopy. The Endoscopy Department of Can Tho Central General Hospital has deployed most of the specialized endoscopic techniques, performing 150 - 170 multidisciplinary endoscopies every day. In the near future, it will continue to invest in additional digestive endoscopy systems, especially deploying a small intestine endoscopy system.
From here, all gastrointestinal endoscopy techniques are synchronized, and people in the Southwest region will be fully satisfied with specialized endoscopy techniques without having to travel far.
According to Dr. Nguyen Minh Vu - Director of Can Tho Central General Hospital, the development of the endoscopy department and the future endoscopy center, fully performing in-depth endoscopic techniques is good news for people in the area.
Because in addition to meeting the needs of people for examination, diagnosis and treatment of endoscopy, this place has also become a training center for doctors performing endoscopy at provincial general hospital.
