On the evening of August 23, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team began its journey at the 2025 World Championship, with the opening match against Poland. Although Vi Thi Nhu Quynh tried her best, she still had to accept a loss of 22/25, ultimately losing 1-3. Although unable to create a surprise, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team made history by defeating Poland in a set. In the next match in Group G, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will meet Germany (ranked 11th in the world) at 5:00 p.m. on August 25.
