- Inauguration of Agribank headquarters, Dam Doi district branch
- Inauguration of rural bridge sponsored by BIDV
- Inauguration of the house marks the completion of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025
The road project will start construction at the end of 2024, with a total investment of more than 3.4 billion VND. Of which, the Liaison Committee of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu Compatriots mobilized Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank to sponsor 1 billion VND, the rest will be taken from the district budget.
Sponsors and local authorities cut the ribbon to inaugurate the road on the west bank of Tham Troi canal.
The completion and putting into use of the Tham Troi canal west bank route not only opens the way for the circulation and exchange of goods and agricultural products, but also opens the way for the trust and development of people in rural areas with many difficulties, such as the spirit of solidarity and sharing between the government, businesses and the people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tan, Head of Tham Troi Hamlet, shared: “The old road was built in 2007 and is now severely damaged. In many sections, people have to use wooden planks or build temporary bridges to cross. Traveling, transporting agricultural products, and taking children to school are very difficult.”
“For years, people have been waiting for a wide, easy-to-travel road. Now, transporting rice and vegetables to the market to sell is easier. Thank you to the government and sponsors,” said Nguyen Thi Hong, a resident living along the road.
Representative of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank presented a symbolic board to support 1 billion VND to build the road and the Liaison Committee of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu compatriots supported the charity house.
Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen The Chau presented a certificate of merit to recognize the sponsor's golden heart.
Also at the ceremony, Tran Van Thoi district organized the handover of a charity house to Mr. Nguyen Hoan Viet's family, Tham Troi B hamlet, who is in particularly difficult housing circumstances. The house was solidly built with an area of 36 square meters, reinforced concrete foundation, and corrugated iron roof. The total construction cost was 60 million VND, of which the Liaison Committee of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu compatriots supported 50 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family. The new house is a great source of encouragement to help Mr. Viet's family stabilize their lives, work and produce with peace of mind, and escape poverty.
The charity house was handed over to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Viet, who has special housing difficulties in Tham Troi B hamlet.
On this occasion, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank also presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged households in the commune, demonstrating a humanitarian gesture and practical companionship with the community.
