Road Management Board 3 (Road Management Department) said that the landslide occurred at around 1 p.m. the same day on Khanh Le Pass, completely covering 30 meters of the road surface. Khanh Le Pass landslide causes traffic disruption

At the scene, seeing the danger, many car drivers had to stop from a distance, creating a long traffic jam.

Immediately after the landslide, Road Management Board 3 requested the road maintenance contractor to urgently mobilize maximum manpower and machinery to the scene to carry out cleaning, clear the scene, soon open the route and provide traffic warning, ensuring traffic safety in the area. It is expected to open to traffic at 5:00 p.m. the same day.

The leader of the People's Committee of Son Thai Commune (Khanh Vinh District) said that yesterday (November 15) a landslide also occurred on Khanh Le Pass, but it did not greatly affect traffic passing through here.

National Highway 27C is 121 km long, a vital route connecting Lam Dong with Khanh Hoa . Khanh Le Pass has dangerous winding terrain, high cliffs and deep ravines, and is often subject to landslides during the rainy and stormy season.

According to the South Central Region Hydrometeorological Station, from November 14 to 16, due to the influence of cold air, Khanh Hoa province will have moderate to heavy rain in some places, with rainfall ranging from 150 - 250 mm, and up to 300 mm in some places.
