Not only is it a place to preserve this endemic mosquito species, the Medical Insect Museum (Central Institute of Malaria - Parasitology - Entomology) also owns a living archive with more than 50,000 specimens, the most valuable in the field of insect research and medical epidemiology.

Founded with the aim of archiving and preserving, the museum currently holds insect specimens dating back to the 1960s.

The museum space is likened to a miniature natural "gene map", where each specimen carries a silent but equally interesting medical story.

This is a special destination for those who want to explore the little-known hidden corners of the relationship between insects and human health.
