The contest is not only a professional activity held every 5 years under unified direction on a large scale throughout the industry, but also a forum for exchange, learning, and sharing experiences; it is the basis for proposing appropriate policies and solutions to improve the effectiveness of cryptographic technical work and planning a team of qualified staff in the coming time.

According to the Organizing Committee, the new point of this competition is the addition of the "technical assurance" subject - the force directly deploying and handling technical situations arising in practice, demonstrating the "timeliness" in organizing training to meet practical requirements, especially in the conditions of increasingly modern and diverse information technology infrastructure and cryptographic products.
The athletes participating in the competition are the best representatives selected through competitions of the key organizations of the Army, Police, Diplomacy, Party-Government and Cryptography Academy, representing thousands of key officers and employees in the entire industry from all over the country.
