GMB League 2025 attracted the participation of more than 50 teams with more than 700 athletes from secondary schools, high schools, universities and basketball training centers in Hanoi. This is the first time an inter-level basketball tournament has been organized, creating opportunities for exchange, competition and talent development for students who love sports , especially basketball.

Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Nguyen Tien Binh, Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized: "This is not only a sports tournament, but also the first milestone in the journey of building a professional playground, nurturing the spirit of school sports, spreading the values of team spirit, discipline and perseverance."

Sharing the same view, Ms. Nguyen Mai Tam, Director of MVP Basketball Academy, co-organizer of the tournament, hopes that GMB League will contribute to improving the physical and mental life of students, thereby promoting the sports movement in depth and substance.

Right after the opening ceremony, the first two U18 boys matches took place: Yen Hoa High School faced Kim Lien High School, and Chu Van An High School for the Gifted met Vinschool The Harmony, starting a promising and emotional season.
