This year's list features newly opened or reopened hotels around the world , each standing out for its successful blend of heritage and innovation.

Namia River Retreat's inclusion in this list is international recognition of the beauty and value that this resort brings, affirming the position of Vietnamese architecture in the global hospitality industry.

Stretching across the tranquil Con Ba Xa area near Hoi An ancient town, Namia River Retreat is nestled amidst lush greenery and a tranquil river. The resort was born from a dream of combining authentic cultural exploration with traditional herbal medicine-inspired wellness.

Namia River Retreat offers a tranquil world of private pool villas, ensuring peace and luxury. The culinary experience here celebrates local flavors, offering unique and authentic dishes.

The pool offers a panoramic view of the Thu Bon River, creating a poetic and relaxing setting. The resort invites guests to embark on a journey of discovery and connection, blending the beauty of tradition with the tranquility of mind and body.

The Versailles Prize is a series of annual international architecture awards, presented since 2015. It honors outstanding achievements in architectural and interior design worldwide.

The award aims to encourage service projects that improve the living environment, promote sustainable tourism and preserve cultural, natural and social heritage.

According to Mr. Jerome Gouadain, Secretary General of the Versailles Awards, the exceptional hotels on the list all have in common that they have honored and promoted local know-how and heritage.

Moreover, the works all demonstrate in-depth research on design, reflecting the clear intersection between creators and lands. Art serves tourists, creating distinctive marks of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

Other Versailles Award categories include restaurants, shops, shopping malls, airports, stadiums, train stations and museums. These lists will be announced gradually this year.

What makes the Versailles Prize prestigious and internationally significant is its close partnership with UNESCO. Since 2015, the annual announcement and award ceremony has been held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The Prize shares the values that UNESCO pursues. Firstly, the Prize honors projects that focus on sustainability, ecological efficiency and social impact, which are fully in line with UNESCO's goals of preserving heritage and promoting sustainable development.

Second, the award-winning projects ensure the principle of respecting local heritage combined with modern creative elements, encouraging cultural diversity and harmony between cultures.

Third, by recognizing outstanding works globally, the Versailles Prize, supported by UNESCO, helps raise awareness of the importance of architecture in improving the living environment.

Fourth, the award ceremony held at UNESCO headquarters becomes an important international forum, attracting the attention of architects, designers and cultural leaders from around the world.
