The partnership marks an important milestone in the journey of Long Chau and Organon Vietnam in taking care of women's health. The two sides will spread essential knowledge about proactive care, improve consulting skills for professional pharmacists, and support the female community in accessing appropriate and safe contraceptive solutions.

Long Chau and Organon elevate strategic cooperation for Vietnamese women's reproductive health.
The signing ceremony between Long Chau and Organon on July 15 was attended by representatives of the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and leaders of the two units. This meaningful activity took place in the context of Vietnam - the United States celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. The cooperation between Long Chau and Organon - a typical representative of the US pharmaceutical industry, not only marks a step forward for the health of Vietnamese women, but also reflects the spirit of companionship and mutual development between businesses of the two countries.

Mr. Gregory Harris, Commercial Attaché, US Commercial Service - US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Chief Representative of the United Nations Population Fund expressed: "Congratulations to Organon Vietnam and Long Chau on establishing a strategic partnership in the field of public health and social justice. UNFPA looks forward to continuing to accompany you on the road ahead."
Accordingly, Long Chau and Organon Vietnam join hands to solve the “hot spot” in reproductive health care. In Vietnam, many pregnancies are unwanted and 3/4 of abortions stem from these cases. Unwanted pregnancies and high abortion rates not only affect physical health, but also leave lasting psychological trauma, silently reducing the quality of life and happiness of women.
From this reality, Organon Vietnam and Long Chau will implement strategic cooperation pillars, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable companionship for the health of Vietnamese women.
The program began with an intensive training program and workshops to improve professional capacity for more than 18,000 pharmacists in the Long Chau pharmacy system nationwide. Not only accessing updated knowledge about reproductive health, the medical team is also equipped with consulting skills and support tools to become reliable companions with women on their journey of proactive health care.
2,222 pharmacies in the system will ensure widespread distribution of standard, safe and affordable contraceptive products, helping all women have access to suitable solutions.
The two sides stepped up publiceducation campaigns through social media and mass media channels, focusing on raising awareness of modern contraception and the right to choose in health care, an essential right of women, but one that still faces many barriers in practice.
The program also pays close attention to areas with limited healthcare. 1,000 medical cabinets will be donated to remote health stations, carrying the hope of narrowing the healthcare gap and spreading real care to each locality, each woman, whether in urban or rural areas.
Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Ha, General Director of Organon Vietnam shared: “Empowering women through equal, scientific healthcare services is not only a medical goal, but also a responsibility of the whole society. Organon Vietnam is committed to accompanying partners, medical experts, and the pharmacist community to build a comprehensive reproductive healthcare ecosystem - scientific and gender-sensitive . This is a practical step towards the future - where all women have the right to choose and receive equal care.”

Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Director of FPT Retail and Executive Director of Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination System, said that with a system of 2,222 pharmacies across the country, Long Chau currently has a team of more than 18,000 pharmacists. Long Chau has been serving and taking care of the health of 28 million customers and families.
“We identify our role as a fulcrum to join Organon in realizing breakthrough strategies to improve the quality of life for Vietnamese people in general, especially Vietnamese women, through advanced, sustainable and accessible medical solutions.
At Long Chau, we believe that women’s health care is not only the foundation of a healthy community, but also the clearest expression of a fair and progressive society. Women deserve access to quality, modern health services regardless of whether they live in urban or remote areas. It is not only a basic right, but also an essential factor for women to take control of their own health, future and life, thereby nurturing happy families, contributing to the sustainable development of the community and the country,” said Ms. Quyen.
