He emphasized that the new Tay Ninh provincial military command needs to soon stabilize its organization, strengthen its staff, maintain effective operations and promote its key advisory role to local Party committees and authorities in national defense and security work.
In particular, with the location of the new Tay Ninh province having a long border with neighboring Cambodia, the leaders of Military Region 7 requested to focus on defense foreign affairs, promote people's diplomacy, create consensus and trust among the masses. At the same time, the Provincial Military Party Committee must truly be the nucleus of solidarity, unanimously build a solid people's position, contribute to building a comprehensively strong provincial defense area, effectively linking with the provinces in the key southern region.
Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee, Huynh Van Son, also suggested that the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command promote the potential and strengths of both localities after the merger, creating a breakthrough in carrying out military and defense tasks, building the province into a strategic connection center between the Mekong Delta and the Southeast region.

This is a prerequisite for the collective Party Committee and unit leadership to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Along with the organizational restructuring in Tay Ninh, recently, the provinces in Military Region 7 have also vigorously implemented the restructuring of the armed forces. In Binh Phuoc - Dong Nai province, after implementing the merger policy, the new provincial Military Command has also completed the handover of commander positions, announced personnel of affiliated agencies and units, creating unity and continuity in command and operation.

This is a strategic step, contributing significantly to the inter-connected defense posture, ensuring national defense and people's security on the southwestern border of the Fatherland.
