More than 7,000 athletes explode at the 2025 International Marathon

More than 7,000 domestic and foreign athletes together created a vibrant sports festival at the 2025 International Marathon on August 16.

The race at Flamingo Dai Lai attracted more than 7,000 athletes to participate.

On August 16, in the atmosphere of the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 55th anniversary of the first broadcast of Vietnam Television, the VTV International Marathon 2025 with the theme "Rhythm through time" officially opened at Flamingo Dai Lai.

The event gathered more than 7,000 domestic and international athletes competing in three distances of 21 km, 10 km and 6.8 km. The uniquely designed running route passes through lush pine forests, poetic lakes and impressive architecture, creating an unforgettable experience in a romantic sunset setting. In particular, this year, runners from 8 countries participated, contributing to increasing the attractiveness and providing opportunities for international exchange.

Besides the sporting value, the tournament also has a profound humanitarian meaning with the activity of giving 300 bicycles to poor but studious students in Phu Tho. This is a clear demonstration of the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of the organizing and accompanying units.

The organizers said that the tournament not only aims to promote the community health movement but also to promote local culture and tourism.
