On November 10, the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City organized the 3rd walking program "Joining hands to build a civilized, modern, and affectionate Thu Duc city" in 2024.

The program was attended by more than 7,000 people including leaders, officials, civil servants, public employees, businesses, socio-political organizations and people in Thu Duc City.
The program's organizers said they have received the support and cooperation of 46 individuals, groups, businessmen, and enterprises to support the construction of funds with money and construction works, with a total value equivalent to 9,893,290,000 VND.
According to the report of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City, from the beginning of 2024 to present, the city and wards have coordinated to mobilize for the "For the Poor" Fund with a total amount of over 18,120,251,000 VND. Thereby, regular and unexpected care activities have been organized for more than 19,723 policy households, poor households, near-poor households; households in difficult circumstances in the area, with a total amount of over 10.7 billion VND.
From the above support, many households have gradually stabilized their lives and escaped poverty sustainably.
