More than 7,000 soldiers practice for the first time in a parade to celebrate National Day September 2
The parade subcommittee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2nd, organized a joint training session of military units in three areas this morning.

The army has 11 standing blocks and 27 walking blocks, with a total of 7,413 officers and soldiers. Each walking block consists of 10 rows with 160 officers and soldiers.
Thus, the number of blocks and soldiers has increased compared to the parades celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 50th anniversary of National Reunification.
Major General Vu Viet Hung (Military Training Department - School) said that the units have entered the 18th day of training. Today is the first time they have practiced together, to gain experience from the training results.
At the National Military Training Center 4, there are 1,296 officers and soldiers, including the following groups: female military musicians, female peacekeepers, female information soldiers, female medical officers, female commandos, female militia of Vietnamese ethnic groups, and female southern guerrillas.
At the National University, there are 2,917 officers and soldiers, including the following groups: Party Flag - National Flag, Honor of 3 military services, Army officers, Logistics - National Defense Industry Engineering officers, Military School students, Artillery soldiers, Armored soldiers, Engineer soldiers, Red Flag.
At the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Village, there are 3,200 officers and soldiers, including the following groups: Navy officers, Air Defense - Air Force officers, Border Guard officers, Coast Guard officers, Electronic Warfare, Cyber Warfare, Special Forces soldiers, Chemical Defense soldiers, Paratrooper Special Forces soldiers, and male Militia and Self-Defense Forces.
During the training process, the blocks also organized experience sharing and training programs suitable to weather conditions and quality requirements of each stage.
