The discussion session in the hall on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution was broadcast live on television and radio for voters and people nationwide to follow.

According to the program of the 9th Session, this morning (June 13), the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to give opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city ; listened to the report and discussed the proposed National Assembly Supervision Program in 2026.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly listened to the representative of the Committee for Drafting Amendments and Supplements to a Number of Articles of the 2013 Constitution present a Report on explanation, acceptance of public opinions, opinions discussed in groups and halls (first time) of National Assembly deputies and revision of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front , the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth and the Law on Implementing Democracy at Grassroots Level.

Speaking at the 3rd session of the Committee for Drafting Amendments and Supplements to a Number of Articles of the 2013 Constitution on June 9, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that, through synthesis, there were 280,226,909 comments from agencies, organizations and individuals on all contents and provisions of the draft Resolution; of which, the average approval rate was 99.75%.

This is the clearest evidence of the correct policy of the Party and the National Assembly in amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and demonstrates the high consensus and unity between "the Party's will and the people's heart".

“The amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution is a step to concretize and institutionalize the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and is being implemented very seriously, methodically and responsibly,” the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.

According to the latest session agenda, the National Assembly will vote to pass the Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution on June 16, 8 days earlier than previously scheduled, to meet the urgent progress of implementing the policy of rearranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system and implementing the 2-level local government model.
