The report at the Conference stated that over the past 7 months, the work of the Front in the province has been comprehensively implemented, closely following the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee. The Front system at all levels has promoted its role as a center of solidarity, a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, contributing to consolidating trust, enhancing social consensus and promoting socio -economic development in the locality. Propaganda and mobilization work has been widely deployed with more than 4,100 sessions, attracting over 358,000 participants. The propaganda content focuses on the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, especially the 4 breakthrough resolutions and the contents of the amendments to the 2013 Constitution.
Attention has been paid to the work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building; the Fatherland Front at all levels has coordinated to organize for the Provincial People's Council Delegation to meet voters after the 25th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to meet voters before and after the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly at 68 locations with nearly 4,600 voters attending and synthesizing 669 opinions. Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns continue to be effectively implemented. Notably, Lai Chau has completed the elimination of 7,161 temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching 100% of the plan...
People's foreign affairs have been strengthened, maintaining friendly relations and practical cooperation with the people of Yunnan province - China, the Front of the three northern provinces of Laos, contributing to maintaining national defense and security in the border area. Organizational work, cadres and innovation in working methods continue to receive attention. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has advised the Provincial Party Committee to issue a project to streamline the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State at the provincial and commune levels. Timely ending the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the district level, 106 communes, wards and towns; issuing decisions to establish and appoint personnel for the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in 38 newly established communes and wards.
In the last 6 months of 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will continue to propagate and mobilize people of all walks of life to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, especially the propaganda and implementation of the 4 important Resolutions of the Politburo, considered the "four pillars" to help the country "take off" in the new era. Promote propaganda for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Congresses of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at all levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term...
At the Conference, delegates discussed and clarified the achieved results, and proposed a number of contents and solutions to effectively implement the Front's work in the coming time. At the same time, they gave their opinions on the Draft Notice on the orientation of key tasks of the Front's work in 2026; Draft Guidelines for developing the Political Report of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial and communal levels for the 2025-2030 term; Draft Regulations on the operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province, term XIII, term 2024-2029; Draft Notice on the assignment of tasks to members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province, term XIII, term 2024-2029 and a number of other important contents.
Concluding the Conference, Comrade Sung A Ho - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee proposed that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and member organizations continue to promote propaganda of political events, national and provincial holidays; promote digital transformation, innovation in performing assigned political tasks; continue to streamline and consolidate the organizational apparatus, train and improve the capacity of cadres to meet the requirements of tasks in the new revolutionary period under the direction of the Central and the province; carefully prepare all conditions for the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at all levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.
At the same time, improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, fully synthesize opinions and recommendations of voters and people; promote the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; launch a peak emulation campaign to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Congresses of socio-political organizations at all levels, term 2025 - 2030...
