After hearing the report on the construction status and difficulties of the project, Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung requested the investor and contractor to resolutely speed up the project's progress.
"There is not much time left. For sections that are no longer stuck, we will focus human and material resources on construction and complete the main route before August 19," Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung requested.
Regarding the remaining problems of the project, the Deputy Minister assigned the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (the investor) and the contractor to closely coordinate with the locality to resolve them, with the goal of ensuring traffic safety and not affecting progress.
According to the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project Management Board, the project is currently deploying 20 construction teams working in three shifts to carry out the items. Up to now, the project output has reached more than 58% of the contract value and is being completed.
Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh Road Management Board, said that contractors are currently focusing on the main road surface. If the weather is favorable, the entire road surface will be completed on August 15 and open to traffic on August 19.

To meet the project's progress, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board proposed that the leaders of the Ministry of Construction consult with the leaders of the City People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to thoroughly handle and hand over the clean site to the project no later than July 20, 2025; direct the People's Committee of Ba Na commune and relevant agencies to mobilize and thoroughly resolve existing problems so that the project can be implemented before July 18, 2025.
