Implementing the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction and Decision No. 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 7, 2014 of the Prime Minister regulating the structure of retail electricity prices, poor households and social policy households are supported with electricity bills. In which, poor households are supported with a monthly support level equivalent to the amount of electricity used by 30 kWh/household/month.
In Thach Ha district, implementing regulations and decisions of the Central and the province, relevant departments and branches have completed financial support for more than 1,300 poor households in the area with a total support amount of nearly 500 million VND.
Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, the total number of poor households supported is 1,308; monthly electricity bill supported by households: 61,300 VND. The total support budget for the first quarter of 2025 is more than 240.5 million VND.
In the second quarter of 2025, the total number of poor households supported is 1,306; monthly electricity bill for households: 64,280 VND. The total support budget for the second quarter of 2025 is nearly 248 million VND.
Some localities have a high rate of poor households receiving support such as: Thach Ha town, Luu Vinh Son, Thach My, Hong Loc, Thach Kim communes...
Although the amount of support is not too large, it has brought joy and meaningful encouragement to the poor households and policy families who are eligible for support.
Thereby contributing to reducing the financial burden on poor households, helping them access grid electricity, improving the quality of life and making an important contribution to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
