Going through a "thirst" for victory with 4 losses in the last 5 matches, the Vietnamese team is more or less under psychological pressure before the match with the Indian team. Coach Kim Sang-sik shared: "Tomorrow's match will be played at Thien Truong Stadium, I believe there will be a large number of fans. The team will aim for victory to bring joy to the fans."

Regarding the call-up of veteran Van Quyet and some players who rarely join the national team, such as Quoc Viet, Ngoc Quang, etc., the Korean coach explained: “I have watched all the players and their performances. The Vietnamese team needs new energy and experienced players. They have a good connection and this is very useful for the future.”

Regarding the team's strength, coach Kim Sang-sik confirmed that Tien Linh and Viet Anh are still not in the best physical condition, so the possibility of playing in the match against India is open. "Tien Linh and Viet Anh are having injury problems and cannot practice with the team to the fullest, but this does not affect much. I believe the whole team will have good results in tomorrow's match."

The Vietnamese team had their first and only practice session at Thien Truong Stadium before the match against India.

Concerned about the strength of the attack when Tuan Hai was absent from this training session due to injury while Tien Linh was not in the best physical condition, coach Kim Sang-sik said: “Tien Linh and Tuan Hai are good players, I am sorry that they are injured. However, I still have many talented players, so I believe that the Vietnamese team's attack will still do well in scoring goals. I am trying my best to create positive energy for the whole team. In addition, I am trying to bring joy to fans and spectators after each match.”

Attending the press conference with coach Kim Sang-sik, young striker Nguyen Dinh Bac expressed his determination: “I am in the best spirit and physical condition for tomorrow’s match. If I get to play, I will try to play with the best performance.”
