The sporting event attracted more than 10,000 domestic and international athletes and thousands of tourists to the beautiful coastal city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam.
More than 10,000 domestic and international athletes participated in the race.
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Director of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: "The VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon has attracted a large number of athletes and made a meaningful contribution to helping the community pay more attention to the importance of regular exercise combined with balanced nutrition for a healthier life. Many independent members of Herbalife Vietnam are active athletes participating in this year's race."
Participants of the VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2023, including domestic and international athletes and amateur athletes, competed in short, medium and long runs - including distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km.
The running route gave the athletes the opportunity to explore the beauty of the coastal city. The athletes watched the sunrise over the sea, conquered the 7km Thi Nai Bridge, ran through sand dunes and windmill fields, and enjoyed the panoramic view of Thi Nai Lagoon and Quy Nhon City.
The VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2023 is the second event, after the VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023, in the series of races organized by VnExpress that Herbalife Vietnam will sponsor this year. The next races will be held in Nha Trang in August, Ha Long in September and Hai Phong in December.
