Tam Ky City People's Council performs well its functions and tasks in the 2021 - 2026 term

(QNO) - This afternoon, June 24, Tam Ky City People's Council held the 22nd session to summarize the activities of the 12th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

According to Mr. Pham Hoang Duc - Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Council, this is not only a meeting to summarize the activities of the 12th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, but also the last meeting of the City People's Council before ceasing operations and switching to a 2-level government model.

"I would like to thank the delegates and former delegates of the City People's Council for their active contributions to the activities of the City People's Council in the past time," said Mr. Duc.

The report of the Tam Ky City People's Council said that in the 2021 - 2026 term, the City People's Council held 27 meetings, including 8 regular meetings and 19 special and extraordinary meetings. Accordingly, 158 resolutions were issued related to important issues of the city.

The City People's Council performed well its functions of supervision, questioning and answering questions; activities of meeting voters and citizens were organized in accordance with regulations, meeting the requirements and aspirations of the people.

Regarding the activities of the People's Committee of Tam Ky City in the 2021 - 2026 term, the city's economy recovered and developed after the COVID-19 pandemic. The total value of products of economic sectors shifted to increase compared to the same period, reducing the proportion of the agricultural sector and increasing the proportion of the industrial - construction sector.

The city's breakthrough goals have been achieved with positive results. Infrastructure has been invested in and built synchronously and modernly; urban infrastructure has been planned, connected, and completed, aiming towards a type I urban area, especially commercial and service infrastructure associated with ecological urban areas...
