"Backpacking" for international internship - Converting credits, accumulating life experience
Students of Health, Language, Tourism , Restaurant - Hotel majors are given the opportunity to do internships in developed countries and territories such as Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia for a period of 3 months to less than 1 year, with the outstanding benefit of being able to convert internship credits at NTTU. In particular, students also have the opportunity to participate in a short-term exchange program at Sunchon National University (Korea) with many incentives: 100% tuition exemption, support for accommodation at dormitories at preferential costs, and credit conversion after completing the program. Recently, the school has expanded its cooperation in training Dentists - Maxillofacial - Facial doctors according to international standards with partners from Australia.
Former student Vu Anh Tuan Tu (Faculty of Tourism) shared after his internship in Japan: "Working in Japan not only helped me improve my language skills, but also trained my professional style, independent thinking and financial independence. This is a valuable experience that I always cherish. I sincerely thank the school for creating conditions for me to have this opportunity."
Cross-border cooperation - Bringing students to the world , bringing the world to NTTU
Currently, NTTU has signed more than 250 memorandums of understanding with prestigious universities, research institutes andeducational organizations from more than 20 countries such as the US, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Korea... creating a foundation for students to access global knowledge.
Hundreds of international students have come to study and engage in cultural exchange at NTTU through exchange programs, internships and academic visits. The university also regularly organizes international conferences with the participation of leading scholars and experts to improve the quality of teaching and research.
NTTU also participates in more than 10 global education projects such as Erasmus+, British Council and receives advice from international professors, helping lecturers update modern teaching methods.
A highlight is the satellite campus at Aomori University (Japan), which acts as a "transit station" to help Vietnamese students and lecturers access the educational and working environment in Japan through exchange programs, internships, dual degrees and international certification.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Vice Principal in charge of International Cooperation, shared: "The University's education internationalization strategy is not only a timely orientation, but has become a strategic pillar in the process of raising the academic and human resource position of Vietnam on the global knowledge map. More importantly, this is the key to opening big doors for Vietnamese students to confidently enter the international learning and working environment, becoming true global citizens.
