At the Conference, representatives of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies announced the Decision to establish a new Ninh Binh Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies on the basis of merging the Ninh Binh Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and Ha Nam , Nam Dinh. Announced the decision to establish 2 new transaction offices, namely the Nam Dinh and Ha Nam Transaction Offices of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; and the decision to rename 19 affiliated transaction offices. These Decisions take effect from July 1, 2025.
Announce and hand over the Decision on transfer and assignment of the Acting Director of the Social Policy Bank Branch in Ninh Binh Province (new) to Mr. Pham Duc Cuong. At the same time, announce and hand over the Decisions on transfer and appointment for a fixed term of office to 8 Deputy Directors of the Branch.
Speaking at the direction of assigning tasks to the Branch, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hang, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, emphasized that the establishment of the new Ninh Binh Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and the consolidation of the apparatus today is an important milestone, clearly demonstrating the determination of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in proactively adapting to the new development context, improving operational capacity to better serve the political tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
Appreciating the existing advantages of the three merged units, with similarities in history, geographical characteristics, credit quality and especially the team of dedicated and experienced staff, he affirmed that this is a solid foundation for the new Branch to maximize its combined strength, create strong leverage, and promote the effectiveness of policy credit work. With a scale three times larger than before the merger, over 300 staff and employees working at 21 Transaction Offices and Branch Headquarters, organizing policy credit activities in 129 communes and wards, 398 transaction points, total outstanding loans of over 13,500 billion VND, nearly 220,000 customers with outstanding loans, the new Branch will have enough potential to make breakthrough developments in the coming time.
At the same time, he expected that the Ninh Binh Branch of the Bank for Social Policies will maximize its scale and increased resources, making an important contribution to the successful implementation of the Party's Resolutions related to private economic development and especially sustainable poverty reduction. To achieve that goal, he suggested that the Branch focus on key tasks: Absolutely ensure that there are no interruptions or disruptions in transaction activities. In addition, review, consolidate and improve the quality of operations of Savings and Loan Groups; promote the application of technology and digital transformation; continue to consolidate and strengthen close and effective coordination with the 4 entrusted socio-political organizations. Each officer and employee needs to maintain a firm ideological stance, with a new spirit and new momentum, aiming for higher aspirations, building the Ninh Binh Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch into a model unit in the system, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.
