Bank interest rates today July 2, 2025, more banks continue to change deposit interest rates after Techcombank increased interest rates on the first day of July.

Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Bac A Bank ) has just announced a reduction in deposit interest rates starting today (July 2), a reduction of 0.1%/year, applied to all terms from 1-36 months.

With the new interest rate schedule, Bac A Bank listed interest rates for deposits under 1 billion VND as follows: 1-2 month term reduced to 3.8%/year, 3 month term reduced to 4.1%/year, 4 month term reduced to 4.2%/year and 5 month term reduced to 4.3%/year.

However, Bac A Bank is still among the few banks maintaining deposit interest rates above 4%/year for some terms under 6 months.

In addition, banks are maintaining deposit interest rates above 4%/year for some terms under 6 months including: BaoViet Bank, BVBank, Eximbank, GPBank, MBV, Nam A Bank, NCB, OCB , VCBNeo, VietBank and Vikki Bank.

In particular, banks listed interest rates from 4%-4.5%/year for all terms from 1-5 months including: Eximbank, MBV, NCB, VCBNeo, VietBank and Vikki Bank.

Returning to the latest savings interest rate table of Bac A Bank, when depositing less than 1 billion VND, the interest rates for terms from 6-36 months after decreasing by 0.1%/year are as follows: 6-8 month term is 5.25%/year, 9-11 month term is 5.35%/year, 12 month term is 5.5%/year and 13-15 month term is 5.6%/year.

The highest savings interest rate for deposits under 1 billion VND at Bac A Bank is 5.8%/year, applied for terms from 18 to 36 months.

For deposit accounts from 1 billion VND or more , Bac A Bank also simultaneously reduced interest rates for terms from 1-36 months with a reduction of 0.1%/year.

Compared to the deposit interest rate table applied to deposit accounts under 1 billion VND, the deposit interest rate applied to deposit accounts from 1 billion VND or more is 0.2% higher per year.

Specifically, the latest bank interest rate for 1-2 month terms is 4%/year; 3 month term is 4.3%/year, 4 month term is 4.4%/year and 5 month term is 4.5%/year. The latest interest rate for 6-8 month terms is 5.45%/year, 9-11 month term is 5.55%/year.

Bac A Bank listed the latest 12-month deposit interest rate at 5.7%/year, while the 13-15 month term is 5.8%/year.

The highest interest rate for deposits from 1 billion VND is listed by Bac A Bank at 6%/year with terms from 18-36 months.

Thus, despite the downward adjustment, Bac A Bank is still one of the few banks maintaining a deposit interest rate of 6%/year, along with Vikki Bank and HDBank.

If in June, the deposit interest rate market was quiet when only 5 banks adjusted, then in the first two days of July, two banks announced changes in deposit interest rates. Of which, Techcombank adjusted the deposit interest rate up , with an increase of 0.1-0.2%/year for terms from 1-36 months.
