(PLVN) - Welcoming the exciting atmosphere on the first day of the establishment of new provinces and cities, many localities across the country have enthusiastically organized unique art programs, with performances rich in identity, combining traditional spirit and modern breath, not only creating a cultural mark but also expressing the nation's strong aspiration to rise up in the new era.

At exactly 8:00 p.m. on June 30, the live television program at two locations, the Hai Phong Opera House Square and the Dong Culture House ( Hai Duong ) officially took place. This is not only a performance, but also a special occasion for people of the two localities to look back together, to touch the sacred emotions of the moment of unification, the moment when Hai Duong and Hai Phong officially became a new administrative and cultural entity.

Art program at 02 locations with many special performances

More than 300 artists from theaters, art troupes, students and the masses of the two provinces and cities have joined together to create a large-scale program. Today's artists not only carry the responsibility of expressing their expertise, but also carry the hearts and souls of the people of their birthplace.

A female artist from Hai Phong City emotionally shared before the performance: “Standing on stage today, I not only sing for the audience, but also for my parents, who have lived their whole lives in Hai Duong, and now, it is as if we have returned to a larger, more brilliant common home.”

Nguyen Van Trung, a native of Hai Duong and currently a student at Hai Duong College of Culture, Arts and Tourism , said: “I have never seen two provinces so close together. The first time I performed with Hai Phong artists, everything seemed seamless. Music has no distance, only harmony.”

The program also featured special art performances such as Uy Linh Van Kiep Con Son singing, Ripe Fabric Season dance (music by Cao Xuan Dung, choreography by People's Artist Huu Tu), and graceful Ao Dai performances by the Top 15 Miss Earth and Top Miss Heritage.

In the atmosphere of the Ceremony announcing the arrangement of administrative units in Da Nang city , on the evening of June 30, on the banks of the Han River, an art program and fireworks display took place with the theme "Da Nang - Flying high with the country".

On the same evening, in the city named after Uncle Ho - Ho Chi Minh City , a special art program "Ho Chi Minh City - Shining new era" was also held at Nguyen Hue walking street. The event celebrated the 327th anniversary of Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh - Ho Chi Minh City (1698 - 2025), the 49th anniversary of the city officially named after President Ho Chi Minh, and at the same time welcomed the newly merged Ho Chi Minh City.

This is an activity to honor the heroic traditional history, culture and people of the South through more than three centuries of formation, struggle, construction and development. The event also spreads the spirit of innovation and integration in the new era.

Art performance to celebrate the unification of Ho Chi Minh City and the 49th anniversary of the city officially being named after President Ho Chi Minh.

The program opens with the "Radiant South" segment, recreating the journey to explore the fertile and affectionate land. With the combination of music, folk dance and visual images, this segment vividly depicts the beauty of nature, culture and identity of the ancient Vietnamese people.

Next, the section "Heroic Land" depicts the indomitable fighting spirit of the people of Saigon - Gia Dinh throughout history. The heroic images from the uprisings, especially the period of resistance against the US to save the country, were vividly recreated, thereby expressing patriotism and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The program ended with the part "Uncle Ho's City enters a new era" with modern and youthful colors, expressing the city's strong aspiration to rise.

Many familiar songs such as "My Fatherland Has Never Been So Beautiful", "Love of the Red Land of the East", "In the Middle of East-West Avenue", "City of Faith"... were performed by artists in a new and impressive way to the public.

Besides the main stage, the secondary stages along Nguyen Hue walking street are also bustling with many diverse activities.

Locals and tourists enjoyed circus performances, traditional music, traditional sports and folk martial arts, attracting a large audience in the city center.
