Authorized by the Director of the Customs Department, the leaders of the Regional Customs Branch XVI have issued decisions on the transfer and appointment of 15 civil servants to the positions of department heads, team leaders and equivalent positions.
On July 1, 2025, the Regional Customs Branch XVI officially operated, ensuring that customs clearance activities in the area take place smoothly and without any problems.
Also on July 1, the Branch held a conference to announce decisions on transfer and appointment of leaders. Authorized by the Director of the Customs Department, the Director of the Regional Customs Branch XVI handed over decisions on transfer and appointment of 3 Deputy Branch Directors; 15 civil servants to hold the positions of department heads, team leaders and equivalent; 23 civil servants to hold the positions of deputy department heads, deputy team leaders and equivalent.
Immediately afterwards, officers and civil servants quickly stabilized their positions, ensuring no interruption in import-export activities in the area, contributing to maintaining smoothness and efficiency in customs management. At the same time, the Department established a Standing Team to promptly resolve difficulties in the implementation process according to the new organizational model.
The leaders of the Regional Customs Branch XVI have issued decisions on the transfer and appointment of 23 civil servants to hold the positions of deputy head of department, deputy team leader and equivalent.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai, Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVI, said that although the process of changing the management area according to the new organizational model encountered many difficulties and challenges, the Branch proactively mobilized all resources in terms of both human resources and materials, and simultaneously and effectively deployed solutions to ensure that all work was carried out carefully and promptly. From the arrangement of appropriate human resources, the transfer of machinery and facilities to the close coordination between departments and specialized teams, all were carefully prepared to operate stably and effectively from July 1, 2025.
Mr. Hai emphasized that the top goal is to ensure stability and continuity in import-export activities, avoiding impacts on businesses and the market. This effort not only helps the Regional Customs Branch XVI adapt quickly to the new organizational model but also contributes to improving management efficiency, creating favorable conditions for international trade activities in the context of digital transformation and strong modernization of the Customs sector.
It is known that according to Decision 2019/QD-BTC dated June 11, 2025 of the Minister of Finance amending Decision 382/QD-BTC dated February 26, 2025, the Regional Customs Branch XVI is headquartered in Cao Bang, managing the area including Cao Bang and Tuyen Quang provinces (after the merger). In this area, there are customs units at border gates and outside border gates such as: Ta Lung, Tra Linh, Soc Giang, Po Peo, Ly Van border gates (Cao Bang); Thanh Thuy, Xin Man, Sam Pun international border gates and Tuyen Quang Customs (Tuyen Quang).
