2025 National Youth Athletics Championship for Age Groups: People's Public Security Team Won First Prize Overall

On the afternoon of June 24, the 2025 National Youth Athletics Championship for all age groups ended successfully. The People's Public Security team won first place overall.

The 2025 National Youth Athletics Championship for Age Groups has 65 high-performance athlete delegations from 63 provinces and cities and 2 sports training centers of the Public Security and Military sectors registered to participate with a total of 968 athletes and coaches.

After 5 days of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 259 medals, including 86 gold medals, 86 silver medals and 87 bronze medals. 32 national records were broken, including 5 records in javelin throwing. The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the People's Public Security team with 13 medals (10 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal); second prize to the team: Ho Chi Minh City with 16 medals (9 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals); third prize to the team: People's Army with 22 medals (8 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 5 bronze medals).

Lai Chau province sports delegation ranked 38th out of 65 participating teams, achieving the set goal.

This is the first time Lai Chau province has hosted a national tournament. Although it is a remote province, this is the first year the tournament has received the full participation of all athletes from provinces and cities across the country and all sectors.

Mr. Tran Quang Khang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province awarded the entire delegation to the 3 winning units.

Thanks to the attention of the provincial Party Committee and government; the professional support and competition equipment of the provincial sports delegation and the careful and thoughtful preparation of the Organizing Committee, along with the cool climate and friendly and hospitable people, the 2025 National Youth Athletics Championship for all age groups has left a good and deep impression on the teams participating in the tournament.
