Gasoline price close to 21,000 VND per liter

(Quang Ngai Newspaper) - The price of RON-95 III gasoline will be close to 21,000 VND per liter from 0:00 today (July 1), after the value added tax (VAT) was reduced by 2%, from 10% to 8%, according to the Resolution of the National Assembly.

This is the second adjustment of gasoline prices in this period. Previously, from 3:00 p.m. on June 26, the retail price of gasoline was adjusted up, from 260-550 VND per liter. This price is applied until before 0:00 a.m. on July 1 - before the National Assembly 's Resolution on VAT reduction takes effect. Thus, compared to the adjustment on June 26, the current price of RON 95-III gasoline and E5 RON 92 is 380-390 VND per liter lower. Similarly, the price of oil is 310-360 VND per liter and kg lower.

However, compared to the previous adjustment period (June 19), the price of RON 95-III gasoline (a popular type on the market) has decreased by VND130, down to VND21,110 per liter. E5 RON 92 also decreased by VND100, down to VND20,530. Oil products (except fuel oil) increased by VND140-190 per liter. Of which, diesel oil is VND190 higher, up to VND19,340 per liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of VND19,060 and VND16,950, respectively.
