Gold price in the world today goes up
At 6:00 a.m. this morning, June 10 - Vietnam time, the world gold price reached 3,324 USD/ounce, up 14 USD compared to the lowest price in last night's trading session of 3,310 USD/ounce.
The recovery in gold prices occurred in the absence of new and important fundamental developments, causing the precious metal to trade in a narrow range. The US dollar continued to weaken, especially when trade negotiations between the US and China did not bring clear signals.
Analysts say uncertainty in US-China trade relations continues to be a key factor driving demand for gold.
The 10-year US Treasury yield is currently around 4.5%, slightly down, creating more momentum for gold prices to rise. Meanwhile, light crude oil futures are trading around $64.75/barrel, further supporting the upward momentum of gold prices today.
In the short term, gold prices depend on new information from US-China trade negotiations and global economic data.
Investors are advised to closely monitor statements from officials of these two countries and important economic indicators such as inflation and employment in the US to assess the next trend of gold prices.
In Vietnam, earlier, at the end of June 9, the price of SJC gold was listed at 117.7 million VND/tael for sale, while the price of gold rings was 113.8 million VND/tael.
