Domestically, the gold bar price at Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC remained the same as the end of yesterday when buying at 119.9 million VND/tael, selling at 121.4 million VND. Currently, each tael of SJC gold bar is 16.9 million VND more expensive than the world price.

The US core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.3% in June, as economists had expected.
