Latest coffee price news today 6/17/2025
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, by the end of May 2025, Vietnam had exported 823,908 tons of coffee, earning over 4.7 billion USD. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by only 0.8%, but the turnover jumped by 65.7%, thanks to the average export price reaching 5,709.5 USD/ton - a record high in the history of the Vietnamese coffee industry.
This achievement once again shows the great potential of the Vietnamese coffee industry in increasing value, especially when effectively taking advantage of opportunities from free trade agreements and high demand from developed markets.
Domestic coffee prices today continued to show a slight downward trend compared to June 16, influenced by international price movements. Growers should closely monitor the situation to choose the right time to sell, and pay attention to transportation costs when fuel prices have not cooled down.
In the short term, coffee prices may continue to be under pressure if global supply does not change dramatically.
