Nearly 5,700 billion VND to build 2 roads in Ba Ria

On June 8, information from the Regional Traffic Project Management Board and the Agricultural Sector of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that they are urgently implementing two key traffic projects to strengthen infrastructure connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and promote the development of urban and industrial areas.

The project to upgrade and expand Hoi Bai - Phuoc Tan road in Phu My city helps improve traffic capacity and contribute to reducing traffic congestion.

Specifically, the project to upgrade and expand Hoi Bai - Phuoc Tan road in Phu My city is about 8.46 km long with a total investment of nearly 3,700 billion VND. This is one of the main roads, playing an important role in connecting industrial areas, seaports and urban areas in Phu My city.

According to the Regional Traffic Project Management Board and the Agricultural Sector of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the project is currently being urgently deployed to prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony on the occasion of National Day (September 2) this year. Currently, the Phu My City People's Committee is focusing on site clearance work to ensure progress according to plan. At the same time, the investor is also preparing documents to select contractors in accordance with the provisions of law.

The implementation of this project not only helps improve traffic capacity but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion, especially in the context of Phu My City's strong development with the presence of many industrial parks and large seaports.

In addition to the project in Phu My City, the main road project in Vung Tau City is also expected to change the face of this coastal city. The route is 2.87 km long with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND.

The project is invested by the Management Board of Transport and Civil Engineering Projects of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. According to the plan, the project will start construction in August 2025.

Currently, Vung Tau City People's Committee is speeding up the compensation and site clearance process to ensure the clean site is handed over to the construction contractor on time.

This main route plays a particularly important role when connecting with the connecting road to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, helping to shorten travel time between Ba Ria - Vung Tau and neighboring provinces, especially Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai .
