Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S25 series with many impressive upgrades compared to the previous generation. However, the battery and charging technology remain unchanged compared to the previous generation. This will change on the Galaxy S26 when reports reveal that Samsung will integrate a larger battery as well as fast charging technology for the Galaxy S26 series.

Previous sources said that battery manufacturers are developing new technologies, including silicon-carbon batteries, and the Galaxy S26 series will integrate this battery.

Leaker Ice Universe revealed: the Galaxy S26 series will be powered by this new silicon-carbon battery technology, which promises to bring many impressive improvements. Silicon-carbon technology stores energy in silicon-carbon instead of rare elements such as cobalt, lithium and nickel, which are difficult to mine and the process is very harmful to the environment. This can bring great benefits to the environment.

This technology helps improve battery life for the Galaxy S26 series while also contributing to increased safety features due to a lower risk of overheating.

Recently, leaker @kro_roe on X revealed: the Galaxy S26 series will support 65W wired fast charging with a larger battery, an impressive improvement over the 45W charging of the Galaxy S25 series.

The company stuck with 25W charging until the Note 10 series introduced 45W fast charging. However, this technology was only integrated on the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, while the standard S25 still only had 25W charging.
