Meritorious teacher Dang Tuan Cuong, Principal of the school, said: From the 2024-2025 school year, the school will develop an innovation plan in four main directions: applying artificial intelligence (AI) in designing and organizing teaching; developing the school robot movement; enhancing technology training for teachers and students; integrating technology into core subjects.
During the school year, the school has used a number of software such as Vitanbrain, Wordwall, Mozaik Education, and Kahoot to design visual lessons and increase interactivity. Some teachers use AI to suggest teaching methods suitable for each group of students, support the construction of question banks and teaching situations. AI virtual assistants are deployed in review activities, answering questions for students, helping students develop questioning, critical thinking, and self-study skills.
At the same time, the school established a robotics team, consisting of students who love technology and are passionate about engineering, guiding them to get acquainted with basic programming, assembling models, and controlling practical robots. This activity is not only limited to the team but also extends to experience sessions for students throughout the school, organizing demonstrations of products designed by students themselves.
Nguyen Duc Thinh, a 7A student (2024-2025 school year), is a member of the school participating in the Final round of the 2024 National STEM, AI and Robotics Championship (VSAR) and shared: “I was selected for the team because I am interested in assembly and have participated in robot experience sessions at school. When joining the team, teachers guided us in programming, controlling and practicing regularly to prepare for the competition, through which I learned many skills and became more interested in participating in STEM activities.”
In addition, the school also focuses on training in technology application for teachers and students. The school has coordinated to organize training courses on AI, robots, sensor programming, and instructions on exploiting online learning platforms for the teaching staff. Currently, 100% of teachers teaching IT, Technology, and Physics have used at least one AI tool in teaching. Not only natural subjects, teachers of social subjects are also trained and use AI for teaching. Ms. Ha Thi Bich Thao, a Literature teacher, shared: "Social subjects teachers also use AI to support lesson design, save time, and focus more on organizing learning activities and group discussions."
The school also encourages students to participate in online technology courses. Last school year, 400 students of the school completed an online AI course organized by Samsung Group and were awarded certificates. This is the basis for students to systematically approach technology content, from concepts, principles to applications. During experiential activities, teachers organize students into groups, assigning students the task of designing technology products to serve life such as smart traffic light models, smart homes, and road-finding vehicles, through which students can apply the knowledge they have learned and practice their cooperation and problem-solving skills.
Thanks to synchronous implementation, the school has achieved many specific results. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school's robot team won first prize in the national Humanoid Robot category, second prize in the Huna soccer robot, third prize in the national STEM competition, and an encouragement prize in the AI & Robotics Challenge competition... According to the school's survey, during the school year, the percentage of students interested in lessons with technology applications reached over 82%. The number of students participating in the STEM - Robotics Club increased from 18 in 2024 to 46 in 2025. At the same time, 90% of students participating in robot activities showed significant progress in logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Based on the achieved results, the school continues to set the goal of gradually increasing the proportion of technology-applied lessons, aiming to standardize professional activities in a modern direction, in line with the industry's digital transformation roadmap.
