Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 752/QD-UBND on approving the investment policy and approving the investor of the Tam Diep 220kV Transformer Station project and connection.
The project implementation location is in Tan Binh ward, Tam Diep city and Ninh Van commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province.
The investor selected by Ninh Binh province is the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) headquartered at 18 Tran Nguyen Han, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi .
The project has a capacity of 500MVA, of which 250MVA will be installed in this phase. The 220kV Tam Diep transformer station includes the following items: station control house, operator rest house, 220kV distribution equipment yard, 110kV distribution equipment yard, access road to the transformer station, gate, fence, internal traffic yard and other auxiliary items. The 220kV connecting line is about 0.86 km long. The project has a total investment of more than 466 billion VND.
The project aims to ensure safe and stable power supply for Ninh Binh province in particular and the Northern power system in general; support existing 220 kV transformer stations in the area.
At the same time, it creates a circuit connection between areas in the power system, increasing the ability to operate safely and stably for the national power system. Increase the stability of power supply, reduce power loss, power loss in the system, improve the production and business efficiency of Vietnam Electricity Group and National Power Transmission Corporation.
The progress of implementing the main operational objectives of the specific investment project is as follows:
From now until the fourth quarter of 2025: complete procedures on investment, land, construction and other related legal procedures and start construction.
From the fourth quarter of 2025 to the fourth quarter of 2026, construct the project items and energize to put the project into operation. The project enjoys incentives and support according to the provisions of current law and of Ninh Binh province.
The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province requested the National Power Transmission Corporation to implement the next steps of the project in accordance with the provisions of the law on investment, construction, land, environmental protection, fire prevention and fighting, electricity and other current provisions of Vietnamese law.
