On August 21-22, Tam Kim Commune Party Committee held the 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 168 official delegates representing over 600 Party members of the Party Committee. Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended and directed the Congress.
Tam Kim Commune Party Committee currently has 26 affiliated party organizations, with 613 party members. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the commune Party Committee achieved many important results: Total grain crop output reached over 3,960 tons, average food per capita reached over 692 kg; completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with 585 households receiving support; by the end of 2024, the commune will achieve 10/19 new rural criteria. Party building work is focused on, during the term, 99 new party members were admitted, reaching 116% of the resolution target...
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of the commune sets out specific targets: By 2030, the average income per capita will reach 30 million VND/year; the value of agricultural production per hectare will reach over 30 million VND; the budget revenue will increase by an average of over 10%/year; the multidimensional poverty rate will decrease by an average of over 3%/year; the commune will meet 15/19 criteria for new rural construction, with at least 1 hamlet meeting new rural standards; the rate of people using online public services will reach over 90%, the forest coverage rate will be maintained at 67% or more...
Speaking at the Congress, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Tam Kim Commune needs to identify building a "happiness index" for the people as an important goal, associated with a clean living environment, maintained security and order, and an honest government apparatus, close to the people, truly serving the people. Proposing the Commune Party Committee to focus on developing commodity agriculture from local specialties, certified, with stable output; developing tourism associated with the Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site and promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minorities. Along with that, pay attention to investing in infrastructure, especially transportation, telecommunications, and information technology to effectively implement digital transformation. Focus on Party building, maintain solidarity and unity, improve the quality of cadres and party members; do a good job of inspection, supervision, and anti-corruption and negativity. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen education , arouse the will, potential and tradition of compassion of Cao Bang people, creating motivation for Tam Kim to become one of the important factors contributing to the development and general happiness index of the province.
The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Tam Kim Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 30 comrades; and the decision to appoint 5 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
