Press conference August 2025

On the afternoon of August 25, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize the August 2025 press conference. Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of press management and direction agencies, leaders of local and central press agencies operating in the area; leaders of relevant professional departments of the Provincial Police.

Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, gave a speech at the Conference.

In August, press agencies in the province closely followed the propaganda direction of the Central and the province, promptly and comprehensively informed the fields of current affairs, politics , economics, culture - society, national defense - security, foreign affairs. A total of more than 2,000 news, articles, photos, and reports were published, of which Cao Bang Newspaper produced 930 news and articles; Non Nuoc Cao Bang Magazine published 67 works; Central press agencies reflected more than 1,500 news and articles about the province.

Key topics were strongly promoted such as: Party Congresses at all levels (165 news, articles); prevention and control of African swine fever (30 news, articles); Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project (16 news, articles); work to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (15 news, articles). In addition, the press actively promoted major events: 80 years of August Revolution, National Day September 2; 80 years of People's Public Security Traditional Day; Groundbreaking ceremony of phase 2 of Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project...

At the conference, delegates exchanged, discussed and proposed solutions to the following issues: Difficulties and obstacles in publishing activities of Non Nuoc Cao Bang magazine after the merger and the Non Nuoc Cao Bang electronic magazine project; some departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province have not coordinated well in providing official information to press agencies to propagate policies; some press agencies still lack synchronous facilities, not meeting the requirements of digital transformation; some news and articles are not really specialized.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness and creativity of press agencies in carrying out political tasks, contributing to creating social consensus. He suggested that in September, the press focus on promoting major events: the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 0, 2025); the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (September 10, 1955 - September 10, 2025); Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Dong Khe Victory (September 18, 1950 - September 18, 2025), the 75th anniversary of Cao Bang Liberation Day (October 3, 1950 - October 3, 2025)... Step up propaganda activities for the preparation and organization of the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress. Propaganda reflecting the preparation and opening of the 2025 - 2026 school year; strengthen information and propaganda on Party building and political system building in 2025. Propaganda for the 6th Cao Bang Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress, towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress. Continue to propagate the consistent foreign policy of the Party and State; important foreign affairs activities of Party, State and provincial leaders; promote famous landscapes; potential and advantages for tourism and service development of the province...

In the coming time, press agencies need to continue to innovate, increase creativity, expand forms of expression, promote the application of digital technology in content production, improve the quality of information, spread patriotic emulation movements, good people and good deeds, contributing to encouraging the entire Party, people and army to successfully implement the province's development goals in 2025.
