The Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2025 officially announced the two best teams that will compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 12. With absolute scores from the Jury, the Z121 Vina Pyrotech team – Vietnam and Jiangxi Yanfeng – China won the right to participate in the most important fireworks match of the season.

This is considered a worthy result when both teams conquered the audience and judges with their top-notch techniques, creative ideas and stories rich in cultural identity. In particular, Z121 Vina Pyrotech - a "newbie" participating in DIFF 2025 for the first time - caused a big surprise when surpassing many formidable opponents thanks to the performance "Aspiration to rise", recreating the journey to the sea of ​​Da Nang City with emotional fireworks and new techniques.

The performance "Aspiration to Rise" by the Z121 Vina Pyrotech Fireworks Team - Vietnam caused a big surprise when it surpassed many strong opponents to compete at the final night of DIFF 2025.

Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yanfeng, the reigning runner-up of DIFF 2024, continues to affirm its status as an Asian "fireworks powerhouse" with "Journey to the West" - a colorful performance, using self-researched fireworks technology, bringing a vivid multi-layered color transition effect like a mythical film using light.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's scoring criteria are more rigorous, focusing on originality, creativity, synchronization between music and fireworks, quality of the ending and emotions brought to the audience. The decision to choose two outstanding names from 10 teams from countries such as Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada... made the Jury many times "brain-weighing".

Jiangxi Yanfeng - China, the current runner-up of DIFF 2024, continues to affirm its class as an Asian "fireworks powerhouse" with Vietnam entering the final night of DIFF 2025.

Ms. Nadia Shakira Wong, CEO of Global 2000 – the world’s leading fireworks art consultancy, commented: “DIFF 2025 is the most consistent and creative season ever. The two finalists both demonstrated outstanding techniques, the ability to tell stories with emotional light and the desire to innovate.”

The final night of DIFF 2025 will take place on the banks of the Han River with the theme “Welcoming the New Era”. Each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks, creating their own performance based on the number of fireworks provided. According to the draw results, Jiangxi Yanfeng team – China will perform first, followed by Z121 Vina Pyrotech team – Vietnam.

Artist Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and member of the Jury, shared: “The final night is still a mystery. The audience has every right to expect an explosive performance, worthy of the largest international fireworks festival in Vietnam.” With its outstanding stature and scale, DIFF 2025 continues to affirm Da Nang’s brand as a “fireworks city”, bringing the city on the Han River to a new era.
