Accordingly, two teams including Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and Jiangxi Yanfeng (China) will compete in the final night taking place at 8:00 p.m. on July 12 at the fireworks stage on the Han River - Da Nang .
According to the Jury, both teams achieved outstanding scores based on the criteria: creativity, color effects, combination with music , quality and overall emotion of the performance. These are the two teams that are considered to clearly express the spirit of the DIFF 2025 theme: "Da Nang - New Era".
Fireworks display by team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam)
Z121 Vina Pyrotech is a unit under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, participating in DIFF for the first time with a performance called "Aspiration to Rise". Recreating the development journey of Da Nang, the team impressed with modern techniques, unique fireworks effects and profound music. Although it was their first time on the international stage, the Vietnamese team demonstrated their ability to tell stories through fireworks and their clear national identity.
Jiangxi Yanfeng Team - representing China, runner-up of DIFF 2024. This year, the team brought to the competition "Journey to the West Side Story" with self-produced fireworks, characteristic color transition effects, and music-synchronized techniques.
The "Journey to the West" competition with self-produced fireworks by the Chinese representative helped this team enter the final round of DIFF 2025.
The Chinese team's performance was considered cinematic, affirming its position as one of Asia's leading fireworks powers.
DIFF 2025 brings together 10 competing teams from the following countries: Vietnam, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China. The teams bring a variety of cultural colors and performance techniques. The jury commented that this year's season has even quality and fierce competition, making the selection of two teams for the final a big challenge.
Ms. Nadia Shakira Wong, CEO of Global 2000 Consulting Company, said that DIFF 2025 is the most creative season ever. The two finalists not only excel in technique but also convey strong emotions through each light rhythm.
The Organizing Committee has drawn the order of performances for the final night. Jiangxi Yanfeng team will compete first, followed by Z121 Vina Pyrotech. Each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks to perform. On this night, the Organizing Committee will award prizes including: Champion (20,000 USD), Runner-up (10,000 USD) along with the Most Favorite Team, Creative Award and Promising Award (each prize is 5,000 USD).
Viewers can vote for their favorite team and predict the winner from July 2 to 12 on the official DIFF fanpage. Prizes include Ba Na Hills cable car tickets and entertainment tickets at Da Nang Downtown.
DIFF 2025 has gone through 5 nights of qualifying rounds, starting from May 31. This year, the qualifying round gathered 10 teams, including 2 teams representing Vietnam and 8 international teams from Finland, Poland, Canada, Italy, Korea, China, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
